The problem
Location-based iPhone apps are awkward to test when every scenario would otherwise require physically moving.
What I built
I built a desktop tool that lets developers simulate locations, then handled packaging, distribution, product decisions, and support as it grew past 300 users.
What I learned
Shipping exposed the gap between code that works locally and a product that other people can understand, install, and rely on.
What’s next
Document the current workflow, the feedback that changed the product, and the path from first release to sustained use.
